I bought one of those in 1972 or 73.. It was a big honker, blued.. one of the earlier models. I liked it and trusted it, but had to sell it to get something for work Wish I still had it, they are going way up in price.. Someday, maybe a stainless Don't remember the serial # so no help there..Bought this Old Army in 1976. Has the inscription on the top of the barrel made in the 200th year. I'm haven't had any luck finding out why it has a 4 digit serial number. Everything I researched has more than 4 numbers anyone have any thoughts?
