Standardizing ammo

I've always liked the idea of this, but never successfully done it. But 357 pistol and rifle I could see being good enough. Maybe 45 might work too. I used to be a fan of 9mm carbines, so maybe go that way as well. But I think it is hard to replace the small rounds and shotguns. So keep a 22 caliber set as well and a 410 set for giggles and a 12ga for function.
